Head and Spinal Injuries
Head, brain and spinal injuries are often deadly and, at the very least, can result in permanent, ongoing disability.
The attorneys at the Law Offices of Sabato DeVito, P.A. have extensive experience helping victims of brain injuries, closed head injuries, spinal cord injuries, paraplegia, quadriplegia and their families.
Traumatic brain injury, also called acquired brain injury, occurs when a sudden trauma causes damage to one or more areas of the brain. Closed head injuries are even more common and are often overlooked.
Closed head injuries often result from motor vehicle accidents, even those with a relatively minor impact. A closed head injury occurs when your head snaps forward and the anterior part of the brain makes contact with the front of the skull. Symptoms of a closed head injury include short and long-term memory loss, loss of the sense of taste or smell, loss of appetite, photophobia (an aversion to sunlight), mood swings, TMJ pain and other symptoms. Our attorneys have ad particular experience representing clients suffering from closed head injuries.
The Law Offices of Sabato DeVito, P.A. advocates for victims of head and spinal injuries in Hernando, Citrus and Pasco Counties and throughout Florida.
